So Sean has been getting up in the night for several months and just in the past few weeks, his nightly waking has changed and he is now only awake for a few minutes (or is he awake) and we just have to lead him back to bed and he goes right back down. It has been hard, because we are sleep deprived from being woken 2 or 3 times a night this way, but every once in a while he does something funny.
The other night Steve and I stayed up late to put together a new desk without the kids. Well it got rather late by the time we finished and before we finished cleaning up we heard a loud bang. I thought it was Steve, he thought it was me. It was actually Sean sleepwalking. He tried to open his door, but hit his head on the door and he seemed immobile there, not able to go anywhere. As we went to get him we saw why. He was covered with his blanket! During the day he likes to pretend he is a ghost and will cover himself up with his blanket and walk all over the house. I guess this happens at night too! We were laughing so hard it was tough to put him back to bed without waking him!

Carli (our oldest) used to do the same things! Don't worry, he should grow out of it...for now, just enjoy the memories! You can tell him about it later (maybe when there's a girlfriend sitting close by!) hehe :)
