A great big kiss

Church is always pretty interesting for us as Sean struggles to be reverent. But today he was excited because it was Father's Day and he would be able to sing to his dad. We thought that would help him be more reverent but unfortunately he struggled quite a bit and even had to be taken out. I was beginning to wonder if he would make it back in time to sing. He made it and as the kids made their way to the front of the chapel Sean excitedly went up too.

Sean made his way to the center of the podium and pulled out the small stool so he could be right where the microphone was. Luckily the microphone gets turned off when the kids are up there. But that didn't stop Sean from saying loud enough for most of the congregation to hear "I'm up really high!" Followed by chuckles and people turning to us with a smile.

Then the kids sang "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home". Sean did not sing a word but just smiled and played with the microphone. When the song finished and the kids were leaving, Sean didn't leave and the bishopric member turned on the microphone just in time to hear Sean say loudly and proudly, "A GREAT BIG KISS!" Again followed by more chuckles and more sweet smiles our way. Sean always has such a sweet way to get our attention and show his love! Happy Father's Day daddy!!
